Business development seismic interpretation and extraction of value from subsurface data still requires intensive manpower. Compressing the workflow by even a few percent has been the goal of every incremental innovation over many years. However, more dramatic advances can now be expected with the integration of emerging digital technologies, including machine learning, into geoscience workflows. This session will illustrate how an intelligent combination of deep-learning, automation, and elastic cloud computation has enabled significant advances and timesaving for fault interpretation workflows.
