SLB, Amazon and AWS collaborate on a range of digital subsurface initiatives
SLB are collaborating with Amazon and AWS on several digital projects that increase customer access to best-in-class digital solutions for energy.

The company’s leading subsurface solutions, including Petrel™ subsurface software and Techlog™ wellbore software, are now available in the AWS cloud computing environment, providing unrivalled capabilities in subsurface insights for oil and gas, and the deployment of low carbon technologies for carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration (CCUS) and geothermal.
The fusion of industry-leading, physics-based solutions and ‘Engineered AI’ for energy, are helping companies across the globe increase operational efficiency and productivity.
Partnership will allow customers to access Petrel™ subsurface software and Techlog™ wellbore software applications within the AWS cloud, leveraging the Delfi digital platform to enhance the experience beyond traditional lift-and-shift.

Petrel software allows geoscientists and engineers to analyze and obtain essential subsurface insights from exploration to production for oil and gas reserves, as well as solutions that support the energy transition, including CCUS and geothermal.
